the hotel itself was a great option. daan neighbourhood is worth seeing. there were beautiful tourist spots not far from this property, for example treasure hill guanyin temple.

Quiet rooms and efficient staff - we liked it. Quick access to national taiwan university.

Parking was not far from hotel. Efficient staff & the venue is in a central area. Suitable place for your holidays in Taipei.

the design, original and elegant

Very convenient position, near metro station and National Taipei Univ.

The room illumination is too dim, even at the desk. Reading in the night was terrible there... Meanwhile, I spent half of my internet surfing time on pursuing the Wifi signal.

Convenient location for local shopping, night markets, sports clothes/shoes shopping. Pretty good value for money. gym was surprisingly good. great massage chairs in the gym. plenty of space.. nice views of the university and gongguan form the rooms.

No wi-fi in the rooms, only in the lobby. Very inconvenient for business travellers. In addition, the the cable internet connection (no wireless) in the room was very slow. I had to call the lobby a few times to ask them to "reset" the connection, which they did promptly. I was surprised, as twn internet/wireless is usually ubiquitous and solid as a rock. breakfast was very disappointing. we arrived at 9:20am (bfast finishes at 10am) and they were clearing everything away! I had to ask for more cut fruit. no soy milk (again, strange in TWN), tired looking salad and average breads. not worth the NT$250 at all.. go across the road to a local bfast shop for NT$50! carpet in the room was grubby, stained and old.

Staff was excellent. Location offered shopping, food, MRT station. Room was spacious and clean. Price was reasonable. Hotel food excellent.

Room temperature control was marginal. No free breakfast. Glass shower door kept opening and blocking the main door to bath. Hard to see hotel sign from street because of foliage growth.

I liked the clean, spacious room, the large bed, and the variety of food available.

Great location near ntu and Gongguan mrt.

Can be noisy since it is next to school, busy night market, and main street. Get the room without the view for less noise.

The hotel is located near by MRT station and Gongguan night market. The room was so big and cleaned. The hotel staffs were friendly and nice with 24 hours stand by. There are many types of food for breakfast.... If we have a chance to visit Taiwan, we will book and stay at Leader hotel again.

Close to the MRT in a great commercial location, very upscale neighborhood. Competent English spoken by staff at all hours. Well cared for property.

bed was a bit hard. they keep the temperature at 25 in the rooms, controlled from downstairs. you have to ask them to lower it - and then it reverts back. with Taiwanese humidity, a bit annoying.

They charge me Taiwan 300 for dirty towel that I have no control because of blood stain

The Service provided was good and courtious. No complaints. One recommendation is to provide a Wall clock at all rooms, this is a must and would facilitate more specifically International Travellers, if possible with a alarm clock.

Very good location, near the mrt and bus lines. A lot to do in the area, shopping, eating, hiking, biking. Friendly staff with reasonable English. Good value for money, on this occasion, but the rates change often.

I have been staying at this hotel for the past couple of years, from time to time and the rooms now are really in need of a spruce up. The carpet was badly stained, for example, and the walls need a paint. The gym facilities are also poor, E.G. the treadmill was not working properly. The sauna was not hot, the steam room was dirty. There were two jacuzzis one of which was out of order and the other one was filthy. Overall, the sauna area was very dirty and no towels or lockers were provided. Finally, when I left I had to open my bag to prove I had not taken a hand towel from the room! The lady was very apologetic and I got the sense she was following a hotel policy that she was embarrassed by. Not sure if I would stay again.
